Beginner

This workout video shows you how to get started with minimal weight training equipment in the privacy of your home. All you need are a few sets of dumbbells and preferably an adjustable bench. This is how Kelly and Colleen started their workouts 20 years ago. Kelly was 52 when she picked up her first weight and shortly after that got Colleen started on the same program.

They map out a sample workout routine that is simple and effective. Both weight training and cardiovascular training are covered. They also instruct you on the correct form as well as sets and reps to use on all the suggested exercises. Proper abdominal training, stretching, warm-up and cool down techniques are also covered, as well as nutrition tips.

Intermediate

This is for those who are interested in taking their workouts to a higher level. It involves constructing a workout routine involving more variety in exercises and equipment. Therefore, at this time you may want to consider joining a gym or health club. An alternative to this is setting additional equipment for training in the privacy of you home.

In this video, you’ll get the inside information on how Kelly and Colleen expanded their workouts to this level. A sample routine is suggested, increasing the number of exercises for each muscle group. (For example, several different exercises are recommended for your chest, since the pectoralis muscles must be worked from various angles to be developed to their potential.)

You’ll be shown the correct form for all exercises as well as how many sets and repetitions to perform. Essentials such as stretching, warm-up/cool-down, and proper abdominal training are included, as well as cardiovascular and nutritional suggestions.

Advanced

In this video, you’ll take a trip to the gym with Kelly and Colleen and see what it’s like to go through one of their advanced routines.
